Florine, you have a truly unique career path, going from the benches of ESSEC to a fine jewelry workshop, collaborating with prestigious Maisons of Place Vendôme before embarking on the adventure of The One Paris. What was the biggest challenge when you decided to start all over again to follow your passion?

Florine Leitao:

The biggest challenge was leaving a stable career to dive into the unknown. It was not an easy decision to make, but my love for art history and my deep desire to create pushed me to follow this path. My time at ESSEC gave me solid skills in rigor and performance, values ​​that have accompanied me throughout my career in the great houses of Place Vendôme. These experiences allowed me to discover the excellence of fine jewelry, the love of the profession and this constant quest for perfection.

My career has allowed me to nurture a vision of creating refined, elegant and easy-to-wear jewelry, in harmony with the aspirations of modern women. It is this vision that I was able to put at the service of The One Paris, a brand that perfectly embodies this blend of refinement and accessibility.

Reconciling luxury and accessibility

The One Paris stands out for its ability to offer exceptional jewelry while maintaining an excellent quality/price ratio. How do you manage to combine this luxury requirement with an offer accessible to a wider audience?

Florine Leitao:

This is a bold but fundamental choice. For us, luxury should not be reserved for an elite. In order to reconcile accessibility with excellence, we have focused on several levers. First, the use of laboratory diamonds, which allows us to offer remarkable stones at fair prices, while respecting our ethical commitments. Then, we opted for French manufacturing in our Lyon workshop, using recycled 18-carat gold. Finally, we have reduced distribution costs thanks to our online sales model, which allows us to offer high-quality jewelry at an affordable price, without compromising on refinement.

A concrete example of this strategy is our solitaire with a 1 carat stone, offered below the symbolic bar of 2,000 euros. We are proud to be the only brand to offer such quality at such an accessible price.

Lab-grown diamonds: a new era of luxury

You have chosen lab-grown diamonds, a modern and responsible alternative to natural diamonds. What values ​​motivated you to make this choice, and how do you see the future of lab-grown diamonds in luxury?

Florine Leitao:

Lab-grown diamonds represent a new vision of luxury: faster, more responsible and just as precious. Their production is faster and much less restrictive than natural diamonds, while being ethical, because they are created without mining. This choice seems to us to be a logical and necessary evolution. Moreover, we can already see how innovations like cultured pearls transformed the industry 50 years ago, replacing fine pearls in record time. We believe that lab-grown diamonds can redefine the codes of luxury in the years to come.

This approach is fully in line with The One Paris' commitment to transparency, innovation and ethics. We offer vibrant, modern and accessible jewelry, while respecting values ​​that speak to today's customers, who are concerned about the impact of their choices.

My inspirations for this collection

Florine Leitao:

“For this collection, I was inspired by the contemporary Parisian woman, at once elegant, daring and indomitable, who embodies a blend of tradition and modernity.

I wanted to capture this duality in my designs, using noble materials and clean lines to evoke Parisian classicism, while adding touches of bright colors and geometric shapes to reflect the energy and free spirit of the city. I also drew inspiration from the iconic architecture of Paris.

These elements are subtly found in the patterns and textures of my jewelry, creating a discreet but powerful connection with the artistic heritage of the city.”
